Duduka Da Fonseca @ Jazz Standard

I felt like I was in Brazil on Friday with the 70 degree weather for the first time in 2011 and the warm sounds of Duduka Da Fonseca (celebrating his 60th Birthday this weekend!) and his quartet with Guilherme Montiero (guitar) and Nilson Matta (bass) featuring Anat Cohen (clarinet and tenor sax) plus special guests Kenny Barron (piano) and Claudio Roditi (trumpet). It was quite a celebration and I got some great shots, especially of Duduka playing the amazing Brazilian instrument (with African origins) called the Berimbau!
